Book Project Update!

Anita K. Mitchell has retained collaborator Rodney Miles to help prepare and launch her upcoming book, You Don't Look Like an Astronaut's Wife! The collaborators met in August of 2024 through a mutual friend, Mish Bush, who had recently completed a book (A Makeup Artist in Your Pocket) with Rodney's assistance.

Since meeting, the collaborators have conducted extensive interviews and strategy sessions, and they have completed a front cover design. As of December, a new website has been released built around Anita's book as well as her professional speaking and consulting.

No stranger to public speaking and consulting on government, corporate, and community relations, and with a "Rolodex" of celebrity and political friends that spans decades and continents, the former wife of astronaut Edgar Mitchell shares a wealth of experience and acumen gained over decades at the helm of The Mitchell Group, specializing in advertising and public relations.

Anita recently retired from a post with Margaritaville at Sea in West Palm Beach, Florida, to pursue public speaking and professional consulting, as well as to free herself for supporting her upcoming book with appearances and a tour. Anita plans to continue her popular radio show, What's Your Story with Anita Mitchell on the True Oldies Channel, 95.9 FM in South Florida, serving a community of over 4 million people.
